Gird your loins, people! The cosmos is getting ready to deliver a sexy, passionate aspect that will bless every single sign of the zodiac: the movement of pleasurable Jupiter into sensual Scorpio. Scorpio is the eighth house on the zodiac wheel, the sector that deals with things that are hidden: our sexual side. Our deepest thoughts. Steamy, behind-closed-doors boudoir activity. Quiet, intimate moments with a loved one.
Interestingly it also deals with net worth. Ancient astrologers knew that once we committed romantically to another person (a seventh house activity), that we would share our bodies, souls and yes, our money, with that individual. So if you’re currently attached to someone, your joint assets will be affected by Jupiter’s move. If you’re currently unattached, you will still be affected as Jupiter (which governs profits, by the way) will help you build a nice nest egg.
It takes Jupiter almost 13 years to orbit the Sun, so this gregarious and abundant planet has not been in Scorpio in over a decade. It’s currently in Libra and will glide into its new position on October 10th. This is truly one of the biggest astrological stories of 2017, so I will be publishing a special blog post just about this topic within the next week.
In a nutshell, Jupiter is the planet of optimism and luck. It wants to make things flow easily rather than stall and struggle. The next 13 months will be awesome for finding a soulmate, enjoying the more passionate side of your nature AND making smart financial investments.
It won’t be all rainbows and unicorns though, and you will have to put in some effort. The problem with Jupiter is that it can make us overly optimistic, not a good thing when it comes to love and money. But overall this is one happy, sizzling piece of news!
A rather interesting aspect occurs on the 5th, the full moon in Aries. Every year around this time there’s a full moon in this sign, so that’s nothing new. Aries is the sign of the rugged individual, the person who blazes his or her own path through life. Generally speaking when the annual Aries full moon occurs we tend to think about our own needs and agendas rather than good old-fashioned teamwork. But this year the two cosmic lovers, Mars and Venus, who have been chasing each other through the heavens finally catch up with each other on the 5th.
They form a conjunction, which is similar to an embrace. That means that this usually me-me-me full moon will have a highly romantic flair to it. And then on the 19th the new moon occurs in commitment-conscious Libra. Many people will be getting engaged, meeting someone new or conceiving a baby between the 19th and April 2018. October is looking like a stellar month for love.
The Sun enters lusty Scorpio on the 23rd, turning up the heat. Can this get any better, you ask? Hell, yeah! Because on the 26th the Sun catches up with Jupiter and forms a conjunction, which is considered by many astrologers to be the luckiest day of the year. Even those of you who have sworn off love and claim that you’re totally done with it will be singing a different tune. This is also a fabulous day for any kind of major financial decision, such as buying a house or entering into a business venture.
October will be a good month for handling health issues, which include diet and fitness. There is a strong emphasis on taking personal responsibility for your vitality and not making excuses. The first week of the month is best for setting doctor appointments and starting a new diet. Just don’t go overboard with exercise on the 8th and 11th in a rush to get fit.
Career matters also look good, with the same take-charge attitude. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to search for new employment, ask for a raise or enter new markets with your brand, the entire month is auspicious. With Jupiter entering the house of Big Money, the actions you take now could pay off mighty handsomely down the road. Side hustles, patents, royalty-based opportunities and passive income investments can really add to your bottom line.
