You’ve been in an interesting spot over the past ten months, Aries. Jupiter has been in your house of efficiency and streamlining, urging you to declutter and become more productive both at home and the office. Saturn, on the other hand, has been pushing you to look at the bigger picture and plan for the future. You’re in an enviable position, whether you realize it or not. Saturn is the get-real planet, providing you with logic and clear thinking, and it’s in the blue-skies-ahead sector. It forms a magnificent partnership with Jupiter, which is providing you with the energy to focus on the smaller details that must be considered in order to make a big plan real.
This month the planets are strongly focused on two opposite sides of the spectrum, our home life and our careers. For most people there is a tug-of-war going on here, as career demands often take precedence over the needs of our families, or just spending quality time on yourself. But with Jupiter and Saturn’s help you’re going to finesse this quite well, so get ready!
At the top of the month, the Sun, Mercury and Venus are all stationed in your domestic fourth house. This is where we feather the nest, redecorating and remodeling. With Jupiter in your Martha-Stewart sixth house, though, you’re going to be doing more than buying some plush pillows and slapping up some paint. You’ll be emptying drawers, cleaning out closets and buying organizers galore.
A new moon on the 4th will open up a six-month period in which your home environment will become more important to you. This includes creating peace at home, so if you have noisy neighbors, unruly children or you’re arguing with the spouse, it’s time for change. The good news is that July is one of the best months of the year with few rough spots, and the planets are supporting your actions and emotions.
The second half of the month is superb for romance, as love planet Venus glides into your house of amour on the 13th. Mercury joins her, followed by the Sun on the 22nd. This has to be one of the best times in 2016 to find new love or to experience greater happiness in an existing relationship. The fifth house, where these three orbs are heading, also happens to be the house of children, fun and creativity, so block out dates in your calendar now for quality time with the people you love.
One of the best days all year is the 6th, when the cosmic lovers, Mars and Venus, form a trine in the heavens. Mars is feeling particularly lusty that day, FYI, as it is stationed in your eighth house of sexuality and intimacy. Single people, let’s put it this way: if you meet someone around the 6th you shouldn’t be bored in the boudoir as your relationship progresses.
But the 6th is followed by a stinker on the 7th, when two oppositions and a square occur in the heavens. You could be feeling petulant that day, and this goes for romance as well as the workplace. Unexpected criticism could come from a lover, boss or family member. Frustration may arise in that you feel that you’re not in control of the situation. But this passes quickly and the rest of the month absolutely sings.
Speaking of bosses, your annual full moon in the career sector takes place on the 19th. It’s a good one as Saturn is in a helpful angle. Better than “helpful”, actually, because it forms a trine with Mercury the same day. This is significant because these two planets are asking you to step out of your comfort zone a bit and take a bigger view as to what you can be doing in your career. For example, if you’re good at your job but bored by it, it may be time to ask for a promotion—and work through the initial discomfort of being in a more responsible position.
There is a strong creative vibe at play at full moon time, so maybe you should start writing that book or screenplay. Start that catering company or take Grandma’s cookie recipe and turn it into the next Mrs. Field’s. When Mercury moves into your efficiency zone on the 30th, you’ll become highly motivated to get moving with whatever creative project that floats your boat!
