In astrology, there are 12 houses. Pisces is the twelfth, and it represents midnight: the end of a day or a phase, and the beginning of a new one. Aries is the fresh new chapter, full of wonder and anticipation. And after a year of lockdown, we’re all ready for some wonderful new experiences to occur.
The Sun enters Aries on Saturday the 19th, and Venus follows the next day. Things could happen fast, people! The Equinox on the 21st is a humdinger, dropping three fabulous aspects in our laps.
No matter where you live on planet Earth, the Equinox is a time of balance. Twelve hours of daylight and twelve hours of darkness. In astrology it’s a positive moment for creating balance in your life, whatever that means to you: a healthier body, less drama in personal relationships, more free time for yourself, you name it.
What I love about this year’s Aries season (which always begins right before or on the Equinox) is that glamorous Venus glides into place just as the Equinox occurs. I think it’s safe to say that many of us are feeling a bit, shall we say, dowdy. Pudgy. Covid isolation has put a damper on looking good (what’s the point?). Being indoors most the time has created a freakin’ worldwide Vitamin D deficiency, for heaven’s sake, which shows up in your skin!
Aries is all about the image you present to the world, and Venus happens to be image-conscious as well. So this is the perfect opportunity to reinvent yourself, if that pleases you.
Maybe “reinvention” sounds a bit extreme. Perhaps you’re perfectly happy with who you are. If that’s the case, this Aries season will enable you to get in touch with your most authentic side, a side that may have been hidden due to Covid isolation.
Speaking of change, a fast-moving Mercury-Uranus aspect on the Equinox could bring a job offer or a raise. Make sure that you’re ready to seize new opportunities that come your way. Self-employed people need to have their radar on, as Uranus could dump an amazing money-making idea in your head.
With so much planetary activity taking place in Aries, don’t be surprised if you’re looking out for #1, rather than The Man. If a boss or industry is grating on your nerves, good days are March 26th (looking and sounding like a winner); April 2nd (quiet talks, research); and April 6th (awesome for self-promotion).
The Aries new moon on April 11th is a good time to make a fresh start (in any part of your life), but a Venus-Pluto square could pit you against an authority figure. A muckety-muck could be critical of you.
If you want out of a career situation, work your connections heavily in Aries season. March 30th and 31st are awesome, as are April 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th. However, you don’t have to wait til the end of March to start networking: the Equinox on the 21st brings a fabulous Mars-Saturn trine that can hook you up with the right people.
Romance sizzles in Aries season, especially around the 28th. That’s when the annual Libra full moon occurs, drawing couples closer together. Pay close attention to what I’m going to say next: Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is super active at full moon time. So are Mercury and Neptune, which are in the house of closing out the past.
If you have been in a less-than-satisfying relationship, and you feel as though you’re getting taken for granted, it’s time to speak up. Either that or head to greener pastures. Just know that March 30th and 31st have superb energy for getting on the same page with a lover, so use it to repair matters if need be.
Single people can meet someone new through friends and online dating sites, especially on March 28th (full moon in the marriage house), 30th and 31st. In April, pay attention to the 10th and 17th.
Aries season is sure looking good….enjoy it!
