Yeah, baby! Red hot Mars is in your sign all month. You are energized and ready to go.
Social energy runs high in your chart as May begins. Unpredictable Uranus, the fiery Sun, amorous Venus and chatty Mercury are all in your house of networking. A new moon occurs in this part of your chart on the 11th.
Perhaps Covid lockdown regulations are starting to loosen up where you live, and you’ll finally get back together with people you haven’t seen in a long time. Maybe you’re heading back to the office, even if it’s just one or two days a week. You could also be connecting with people in a big way on Zoom and online forums.
That said, there are two days you have to watch out for: the 3rd and the 8th, when people could be petty and jealous. This isn’t a big deal, as you’ll probably in too much of a good mood to pay attention to it.
Keep in mind that May is a good time to align yourself with “keepers”. I’m talking about the kind of people who truly have your back and whose company you enjoy without reservation.
Great days for meeting folks like this are the 2nd, 6th and the two weeks that follow the new moon on the 11th. There’s an element of surprise going on after the new moon, in which you could meet new people in a serendipitous manner.
Perhaps you’ll be asked to join a mastermind, a club or a political organization. A friend or colleague could introduce you to someone interesting. As you can see, May is looking like a lively, social month… and you deserve it!
One of the biggest stories this month is that Jupiter enters Pisces on the 13th. It hasn’t been in this part of your chart in 13 years, and its stay is going to be quite short, only two months. By the end of July it will retrograde back into Aquarius, where it has been since January.
Considering that Pisces is your house of visionary thinking, doors open wide to things like entrepreneurship. Going national or international with your career. Making plans to travel, the further away, the better (even if you can’t cross a border now, you can still do your homework). Sign up for summer or fall classes at a university or trade school.
On a personal level, you’re going to feel like pampering yourself this month and taking some quiet time for yourself, despite the social vibe. This energy intensifies when the Sun enters Gemini on the 20th.
Go undercover on the 21st and 22nd. These are going to be rough days for all twelve signs of the zodiac, but in your case you’re going to be surrounded by egotistical jackasses who are way too opinionated. You also run the risk of revealing too much to the wrong person, so keep things on the down low.
It might also feel like big plans are stymied, due to setbacks. It’s worth noting that Saturn goes retrograde on Sunday the 23rd in Aquarius, which could slow down financial and romantic plans.
Yeah, there’s a lot going on from the 21st on! Not only does Saturn retrograde, Mercury does the same on the 29th in Gemini, the house of your subconscious mind. From your chart it’s clear that you have a lot of issues to work out when it comes to old emotions, relationships that didn’t go well, and your relationship with money. Saturn going retrograde demands that you are mature and logical, especially when it comes to love, career and cash flow.
Heating things up even more is a high-octane lunar eclipse/full moon in Sagittarius on the 26th. Sagittarius is your house of health and fitness. If you have been working hard to improve your physique and vitality, you could experience a wonderful boost, a reward for your efforts.
But if you’ve been burning the candle at both ends and ignoring your physical (and mental) health, this lunation will serve as a wake-up call.
So May starts out in a very lively, social way, but by month’s end things are starting to lose momentum. This isn’t the end of the world, however: it’s a smart time to reassess where you’re heading for the remainder of 2021 and beyond.
