The annual Pisces new moon occurs on the 13th, and this year it’s especially loaded. That’s because the laws of karma are being activated…..and some interesting secrets and scoops are going to be unleashed.
Pisces is the twelfth house in astrology. Think of it as right before the midnight hour, when darkness has descended and things are not clear to the eye. Pisces is the sign that governs our dreams, our subconscious minds and anything that’s “lurking in the shadows”, so to speak.
Things like old fears, memories and hurts. Negative habits and thought patterns that we need to break. But lest you think that Pisces energy is heavy and disturbing, think again!
Remember, a new day begins once the clock strikes midnight. It may still be dark out, but the light isn’t far off. We have the opportunity to start afresh.
And that’s the job of the Pisces new moon: to help us clear the cobwebs from out minds, heal out hearts and move on to a better place.
A very positive aspect takes place the same day, a Venus-Neptune conjunction in Pisces. Venus is the planet of ease, indicating that taking care of your inner issues should take place more quickly and serenely than you’d expect.
Neptune is incredibly cathartic. This is the planet of doctors, nurses, the pharmaceutical industry and medicinal plants. It also governs psychology and therapy. So if you need help for emotional or physical health matters, the new moon is a superb time for reaching out to professionals.
As I write this, the Meghan Markle-Prince Harry-Piers Morgan fiasco is unfolding. Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you know that Meghan went on record saying that she was experiencing severe suicidal thoughts due to the abuse she suffered at the hands of the media and “The Firm”.
This is classic Pisces energy, the desire to come clean about what’s troubling you and to fix it. But you don’t have to make a public declaration if you’re feeling low; the Pisces new moon will help you nonetheless. After all, Pisces is all about confidential matters.
Right after the bombshell interview aired, Piers Morgan went on yet another tirade about Meghan, whom he seems hell bent on destroying. It looks like he went too far, because 41,000 people complained—–and Morgan walked off the job (or was he pushed?).
This is also classic Pisces energy. In astrology, the twelfth house is the house of “undoing”. This is where we royally f**k up (pun intended, Piers). Pisces energy can bring karma to a magnificent crescendo, which may be enjoyable if you don’t like the person who’s on the receiving end of it. But it can totally suck if it’s you or someone you care about.
This year there is a strong karmic vibe going on right after the new moon on Saturday the 13th. You’ll start to see or hear some stuff on the 17th, then things really develop momentum at the time of the full moon on the 28th.
It’s important to note that the karma crescendo from the 28th through the 31st can be awesome! Chiron, the wounded healer, is active in self-aware Aries. If you’ve been doing things right—-playing fair, being considerate, working hard—some of your good deeds may finally come back to you.
Just remember, the Pisces new moon demands secrecy. If you hear some news, or your gut is telling you something, keep it on the down low. Eventually you’ll be able to pop that bottle of Prosecco open and toast your success and happiness!
