After a tumultuous start, 2021 is under way and hopefully will become more peaceful as the year progresses. Helping matters along is the Sun’s move into Pisces on February 18th, the most cathartic part of the zodiac. Pisces is the place where we soothe our tired body, soul and mind.
February hasn’t been the easiest month so far! Red hot Mars has been cruising through bull-headed Taurus, snarling at planets in teamwork-oriented Aquarius. Fortunately Mars is moving on in its orbit and won’t be forming these difficult angles, not after the 19th anyway. That’s the last day of Mars copping an all-or-nothing, me-me-me attitude.
Things improve even more on Saturday February 20th when Mercury resumes direct motion in Aquarius. Not only does Aquarius govern friends and group activities, it also governs technology. Which may explain the reason why a certain lawyer in Texas got onto a Zoom call with a judge and other attorneys, only to discover that a cat face filter was turning him into the cutest kitten ever….with a law degree.
Yup, that’s Mercury retrograde in the technology sector for you! So if you rely heavily on technology for your line of work, things should improve. I’ve been getting emails from people telling me that their daily horoscopes are showing up hours later than usual. My tech person is working on this, but this is par for the course with Mercury spinning backward.
Once the week of February 21st begins, things quiet down dramatically in the cosmos. The end of February and all of March are looking good, with few stinky aspects going on. Chiron is unusually active over the next few weeks, meaning that it’s time to heal yourself, in all ways.
Let’s face it, we’re all sick and tired of Covid and isolation and injustice and violence. Pisces season is the perfect time to chill out and do some inner work. Since Pisces governs the subconscious mind, you should tend to your inner “garden” of thoughts and emotions.
Schedule a session with a psychic or medium. Study shamanism or Tao (I’ve got my copy of the Tao Te Ching on my nightstand and I’m reading it for the 100th time, trying to absorb its wisdom). Meditate or journal.
I highly recommend 365 Tao: Daily Meditations by Deng Ming Dao. This lovely gentleman has taken a topic that can be darn difficult for us in the West to understand, and has broken it down into bite-sized daily doses that are simple to comprehend.
Pisces also governs serious health matters, whereas Virgo deals with the more mundane stuff. Virgo handles things like diets, fitness regimens, headaches, menstrual cramps, allergies, fatigue and other ailments that don’t require surgery or a major protocol.
Surgery, physical therapy, dialysis, medication and other serious health regimens are in the Pisces wheelhouse. There will be a full moon in Virgo on February 27th, and the Sun will be in Pisces til March 19th. So basically you have no excuse when it comes to getting your body in tip-top, vibrant shape!
Expect your intuition and dream state to become more active during Pisces season. Don’t ignore gut hunches or ideas that seem to come out of nowhere. Some genius ideas for making more money could arrive on February 25th, March 3rd, 10th, 13th and 16th.
Romance could become quite sultry this Pisces season. After all, this is the house of fantasy and seclusion! With libidinous Venus entering Pisces on February 25th, you’re in the perfect, uh, position for exploring your dreams.
Single people have a bit of a different vibe going on. On March 3rd Mars enters sociable Gemini, the sign that governs your neighborhood. While couples are shagging away in their bedrooms, you should be out there trying to meet new people, masks and social distancing and all.
With lucky Jupiter and long-term-success Saturn active in Aquarius–the sign of friends and technology–you could be introduced to someone new by a matchmaking friend. Online dating sites could also produce some good results!
Here’s one last tidbit I’ll share with you about Pisces season: karma is going to start catching up with people who deserve it. The situation reaches critical mass in late March (Aries season), but you may catch a whiff of this around March 17th. Warm up the teapot.
