“Neither a borrower nor a lender be” said Shakespeare in Hamlet. That’s kind of tough in these times, with credit cards, mortgages and business loans a major part of our lives, but the advice is worth heeding this week.
You’re actually in a good spot to borrow money or pay down debt, courtesy of three optimistic planets in this part of your chart–the Sun, abundant Jupiter and savvy Mercury. Tuesday is an awesome day to make progress with money matters as Mercury conjuncts Jupiter: getting approved for a mortgage, securing venture capital (or pitching investors as you try to raise funds), going after a court award or scoring a bonus at work.
But Thursday and Saturday bring some dicey aspects your way, so be careful before you sign any papers. Avoid lending money to, or investing with friends, as you may not see the money again. Someone could resort to guilt trips or power plays in order to sway you, but remain firm.
The same holds true for entering into agreements, such as buying a house or other major purchase. Vet business deals before you shake hands. Saturday is the worst of the two days with a surprise coming from erratic Uranus.
For example, you’ve found a seller for your house who has made an offer which you have already accepted. But now they suddenly demand that in order for the deal to go through, you need to replace the roof and the furnace. They think they have you over a barrel and they’re playing games.
Keep a close eye on budgets too, as there could be hidden costs or people who will slow things down–which naturally will cost you money. This could happen at the office as well as in your personal finances.
But that being said, Friday sparkles for earning more with a strong Mercury-Saturn connection. You could enter into a long-standing business relationship that will bring you kudos in your career.
On the love front, emotions could follow the same bumpy path as your finances! Tuesday and Friday are super for sharing deep thoughts and emotions, and becoming more intimate with a lover. But there could be head games and drama galore on Thursday and Saturday, so count to ten and wait for things to improve next week.
