Woo-hoo! Taurus season is here and it’s going to rock. Taurus is all about creating stability in our lives, be it financial or romantic. This is often a time of year when we want to pamper ourselves with material goods, but a healing Jupiter aspect could turn you into a minimalist monk.
The Sun and Mercury march arm-in-arm into Taurus on Monday, April 19th……a bromance, if you will. They are in a practical, businesslike mood, which is good news for anyone who’s looking for a new job or a raise. Self-employed types can also score big over the next four weeks, as Mercury and the Sun will help you drive revenues.
Helping matters along further is brilliant Uranus, which also happens to be stationed here. The blue planet is famous for fast-moving, inspirational ideas that you can take to the bank, laughing all the way. Money-loving glamorous Venus is in the sign of the bull, so the planets are lining up nicely for you to see more money in your wallet.
On a romantic level, the next four weeks are awesome for creating or finding a solid relationship. This doesn’t mean boring, however!
The full moon on April 26 is in Scorpio, the house of searing sex, so things could get mighty steamy. A word of warning to single folks: steer clear of workplace romances, as Pluto is scheduled to go retrograde on the 27th. If you get involved with someone in your company you may find yourself in a powerless position later on. Keep that in mind.
OK, what are the three big things going on over the next four weeks?
1. Keep your friends and money separate! Don’t loan them cash or go into business with them. If someone has a “fun” idea that is going to be costly, avoid getting involved.
Things like: destination weddings, bachelor parties in Vegas, beach house shares, a group vacay and so on. Covid is still putting the kabosh on these activities, but this isn’t going to last forever. People are already planning some extravagant adventures.
The cosmos isn’t telling you to stay at home–not after 13 months of lockdown!–but instead to be fiscally conservative. Likewise, don’t spend money just to keep up with BFFs or influencers on Instagram.
What’s the reason for this? Planets in money-conscious Taurus are squaring disciplined Saturn in the friendship zone, especially on April 25th, May 3rd and 8th. Pressure to spend money will come from outside sources.
The place where Saturn is located also happens to be the technology house, so if you own a website or online store, be ultra careful about how you spend your money. If you hire someone to code or create a website for you, make sure that the terms are spelled out up front.
2. Decision makers could be AWOL. Despite the positive money vibe coming from all of the planets in Taurus, things could go slower than you’d like. That’s because Pluto starts to retrograde on April 27th in Capricorn.
This means that bosses, big clients or other muckety-mucks could be absent, indecisive or slow to take action. Red tape could be a bi**h to deal with. Government agencies and the courts could be slower than molasses in January.
For example, most of us can’t wait to get the hell out of Dodge and cross an international border. But right know there is an international quagmire about “Covid passports”. The travel industry is 100% behind them, demanding proof that you’ve been vaccinated before you can board a plane, check into a hotel and so on.
But the American government, for example, is saying “it’s not our job to maintain a database like this.” Not to mention the citizens who feel that getting their government involved in this is bad news, because then Big Brother has way too much information about you.
So expect delays. Your career could witness some improvement during Taurus season, but don’t freak out if you go on an interview and don’t hear back right away. It’s a “hurry up and wait” kind of a vibe.
3. Jupiter pops into Pisces for a 10 week stay on May 13th. May the healing begin! Just a few months ago, Jupiter glided into Aquarius, a place it hasn’t visited in over 12 years. Aquarius is one of the most open, social parts of the zodiac. After a rough 2020 filled with Covid, political shenanigans and racial tension, Jupiter’s presence in Aquarius was a much-needed change. After all, this is the planet of optimism and joy.
But in a slightly weird cosmic twist, Jupiter quickly pops into Pisces on May 13th, before starting to retrograde and re-entering Aquarius in late July.
Pisces is a much quieter place, the sign that governs healing of the body and mind. Jupiter is a cathartic planet, so don’t be surprised if you feel like chilling out and being good to yourself (and loved ones) once it makes its move.
Pisces also governs secrecy and doing research. If there is a situation in your life that needs some behind-the-scenes effort, do it from mid-May through late July.
This includes seeking help for a problem, such as substance abuse or emotional issues. Maybe you’re thinking about getting a divorce or changing jobs. Sometimes we decide to go on a diet and fitness regimen without announcing it to the free world. Or maybe you just need to meditate, read good books, go for a stroll in nature or enjoy a hobby.
If you have any big plans under consideration, know that a whopping lunar eclipse in adventurous Sagittarius occurs on May 26th. That’s Gemini season, but I’m giving you a heads-up about it now. Jupiter in retrograde will help you to discreetly set the stage for the eclipse!
